Miniature Highland Grades
Providing both the Sire & Dam are registered in a herd book recognised by the "Independent Highland Cattle Breeders Academy", the following would be eligible for registration.
Female highland cattle of Grade P1 or above, 42 inches or less at 3 years of age.
Male highland cattle of Grade P2 or above, 42 inches or less at 3 years of age.
Temporary registration is assigned to all prospective miniature cattle until 36 months of age.
Application for Miniature status at 36 months of age is to include a signed, statuatory declaration from a vet, witnessed by a second party, as to the height of the animal at the time of signing.
Except where parents are of the same grade, all progeny will be graded one higher that the lowest parent.

P1 Dam covered by P2 Sire = P2
P2 Dam covered by P2 Sire = P2
P3 Dam covered by P2 sire = P3
Fullblood Dam covered by P2 Sire = P3
Fullblood Dam Covered By P3 Sire = P4
"Independant Highland Cattle Breeders Academy" have available to its registered breeders, a measuring devise it has approved for the purpose or Miniature Registrations.
