Visiting Cow Program: An option where you girls visit a pre selected bull at Ruatiti, returning vetted incalf. Ruatiti does not advocate bull ownership to owners of less than 10 females. Be concerned by those who offer starter packs, 2 heifers & 1 bull, this practise we believe is irresponsible? The introduction of new genetics through our visiting cow program on an annual basis increases the diversity and appeal of your fold.

Miniature Bulls are available to serve your Standard bred girls and become part of the exciting restoration of miniature/little highlands.

"Little Joe of Ruatiti" is currently in the South Island and available for visiting cows to enjoy his company.

Semen is available, minimum of 2 straws, for those who wish to AI their girls.

Ruatiti Highlands, through its miniature "Visiting Cow Program", offers a once only, 50% reduction of service fee for a return service to the visiting female should the progeny be a BULL calf whom within 60 days of birth is Vet certified, STEERED.

Ruatiti reserve's the right to request parent verification with the cost of transport to and from Ruatiti that of the owner.
